Personal Information (Biography): Dr. Berkowitz received his medical degree from the University of Colorado in 1981. He completed his residency in pediatrics at Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago in 1984 and was then in private practice in Minneapolis with Aspen Medical Group from 1984-2001. In October 2001, Dr. Berkowitz was named the Medical Director of the clinic at Children's - Minneapolis, where he both sees patients and has administrative responsibility. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Berkowitz has special interests in caring for premature infants and children with asthma as well as in the area of bioethics.
